Tres Leches Cake


For the cake

2 cups of white flour
3 tablespoons of baking powder
6 eggs
1 tablespoon of honey
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of milk

For the tres leches cream

1 can of evaporated milk
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
1 can of 3% milk

For decoration

Mint leaves


Step 1

Put the six eggs in a mixer and beat them, slowly adding the other ingredients.

Step 2

Slowly incorporate the flour, sugar, honey, and baking powder until mix is smooth and foamy.

Step 3

Stir in ½ cup of milk.

Step 4

Grease the mold with a little oil and add the mixture evenly. Bake for 30 minutes at 180ºC/350ºF.

Step 5

After it has cooled, remove the cake from the mold and poke holes on all sides with a large skewer stick.

Step 6

Pour the condensed milk, evaporated milk and 3% milk into the blender and mix. Then pour this mixture in a pot and bring it to a boil.

Step 7

Pour two cups of the mixture over the cake and wait until it is completely absorbed.

Step 8

Decorate the cake with fruits such as strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and mint leaves.

Step 9

Put it in the fridge for at least 15 minutes before serving.
