Chocolate Marquise

Ingredients

1 pack of Maria Cookies
1 chocolate bar (about 175 g)
300g of dark chocolate chunks
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
125g of butter at room temperature
4 egg yolks
500ml of milk
2tbsp of sugar
Vanilla

Instructions

Step 1

In a medium bowl add the milk, sugar and vanilla, and set aside.

Step 2

In a double boiler melt the chocolate.

Step 3

Whip the softened butter, and once creamy add the previously beaten egg yolks. Add the condensed milk and continue mixing until you have a creamy mixture.

Step 4

Carefully add the melted chocolate into mixture and continue mixing until well blended.

Step 5

Soak the cookies in the milk with vanilla.

Step 6

Wrap a mold with plastic wrap and put a layer of chocolate followed by a layer of cookies until full.

Step 7

Put in the freezer for two hours until the chocolate solidifies.
